Need a presenter, moderator or workshop for your Blogging|Writing|Publishing event?
I love speaking at events, especially where I can help those who have questions about blogging and getting published. I have spoken at national blogging and writing conferences like BlogHer, BlogU, Bloggers at Midlife, and American Society for Journalists and Authors (ASJA) annual conference. I have conducted online training and informational sessions for libraries and blogging associations, and my corporate experience is in leading training sessions with groups ranging from 1 to 100+ attendees.
I am available for:
- informational presentations
- panel discussions and moderated Q&A sessions
- workshops and training sessions
Presentations/Workshops can be tailored specifically for your audience/event. I will work with you to customize a presentation that meets the needs of your group. I like to try and leave time for interactive Q&A whenever possible. Some popular topics I have presented include:
- Getting Started Submitting Your Writing
- Blogging 101
- The Benefits of Submitting Writing
- Finding The Right Fit Publication For Your Work
- Republishing Your Best Work
- Your custom topic related to blogging, writing, and/or getting published
“Susan presented an online program on blogging for the Write Like You Mean It group at Charlotte Mecklenburg Library. The presentation covered (in just the right amount of detail) writing online and finding an audience. Attendees were thrilled with the notes they took and empowered to pursue their blogging dreams. Her reflection on personal experiences with blogging were especially relevant, sharing challenges and successes.”
